SHOPIFY CSV FIELD GUIDE

Check price text before importing your update.

Populated price fields are checked for non-negative decimal values without currency symbols or thousands separators.

Fictional example

24.00 → $24.00 or 1,299.00

What to do next

Use the price format required by Shopify. Verify the currency and amount yourself before replacing separators; a comma can mean different things in different locales.

  1. Keep an untouched current Shopify export.
  2. Choose that export and your edited copy in Rowpatch.
  3. Review flagged values and unresolved comparisons, then inspect Shopify’s own import preview.

Compare my two CSV files

No signup or store connection. Files are compared in your browser. Current beta limit: 5 MB and 5,000 records per file.

What this check tells you

A valid numeric format does not mean the amount is correct. Review decimal shifts using the comparison and price-change threshold.
