SHOPIFY CSV FIELD GUIDE
Catch a mistyped product status before your next import.
Non-empty status values outside active, draft and archived are flagged in the edited file, even when unchanged from the baseline.
active → ACTIVE or published
What to do next
Check the intended lifecycle state, then use the documented lowercase status value. Compare against the original export to catch unintended status edits during price work.
- Keep an untouched current Shopify export.
- Choose that export and your edited copy in Rowpatch.
- Review flagged values and unresolved comparisons, then inspect Shopify’s own import preview.
No signup or store connection. Files are compared in your browser. Current beta limit: 5 MB and 5,000 records per file.
What this check tells you
A blank status is not flagged by this rule. Status validation does not inspect sales-channel availability or guarantee publication.
