SHOPIFY CSV FIELD GUIDE
A changed option can change which variant you are reviewing.
Rowpatch matches product handles and option combinations, flags ambiguous groups, and leaves uncertain matches unresolved.
Size Small → Medium while only prices were meant to change
What to do next
Keep all required option-name and option-value columns in both full exports. Check whether the option change was deliberate before reviewing prices.
- Keep an untouched current Shopify export.
- Choose that export and your edited copy in Rowpatch.
- Review flagged values and unresolved comparisons, then inspect Shopify’s own import preview.
No signup or store connection. Files are compared in your browser. Current beta limit: 5 MB and 5,000 records per file.
What this check tells you
An unresolved match is not a verified deletion or proof of how Shopify will import the file. Row order alone is not variant identity.
